In my mind, this combination is sheer perfection for those summer weddings coming up! I'm not quite set on the sash color, but luckily that's something one could easily change. Don't forget to take advantage of the Memorial Day Sale over at the JeanJeanVintage shop - just enter MEMORIAL15 for 15% off your order!

Heat Hustling

Does ordering this skirt in every available color make me crazy or responsible? A very affordable price for surviving work in the summer heat. I should probably just take advantage of free shipping and figure out my size first!

A Big Difference

It's getting hot here in Philadelphia! I always seem to feel dissatisfied with my wardrobe this time of year. Here's one of my favorite solutions: just put on a belt! As you can see from the example above, belts can transform many outfits. Happy weekend!

Oh the joy of stumbling upon an amazing local artist on Etsy! I can't get over how beautiful these pieces by OBJ. & TOTEM are... very on trend, but classic at the same time. This collection is made to be stocked at Vagabond Boutique, for sure. Score for Philly!

Fantasy Chairs

I feel like one of the secrets to having a happy home is owning a chair that either makes you laugh or smile every time you walk by. This vintage bubble chair and striped duo sure do the trick for me!

Nailed It!

This is a very accurate portrayal of how I feel when I get my first sip of coffee on a Monday morning. Ugh! Thanks to the lovely Lara Stone, Dutch supermodel, for the great photograph. And another round of thanks to her for the below nail polish color - mani and pedi appropriate, which few colors are!

On Your Heels

So a few friends have asked whether I actually ended up buying felted soap for my boyfriend's birthday. The answer is no. Being the total sucker that I am, I was persuaded into gifting him these Vibram shoes. You know you've hit the jackpot when someone says "you're joking right?" One trip to City Sports later, we are back on track and in a position to seriously improve our dart game skills.

Bravo, ADAM!

I'm convinced no one does Fall fashion quite like Adam Lippes for his line ADAM. Any man who can make a woman look so sexy with that much clothing on deserves a gold star in my book.

That's a Great Idea

This post is for all the people like me who wanted to smack their faces against the keyboard when Blogger was down. Technology really messes with my expectations! I stumbled across the RejoiceTheHands shop last night while searching through someone else's favorites. The whole shop is awesome, but the Porcupine Quills section has me plotting... now just to capture me a porcupine!

Beneath the Gown

My mother likes to say, "you should always wear the dress, the dress should never wear you".  Diane Kruger and Pippa Middleton have both recently hit the nail on the head. I try to keep this simple saying in mind when I start freaking out over a graphic pattern, which clearly happens on the regular :) Happy Friday!

A Confused Attraction

I can't get these felted soaps from SoFino out of my mind! Until now, I've never really understood how confusion could lead to a type of transient attraction - now I know! I have no idea how "felted soap" is meant to be used, but at least one of these must be mine. And here's my confession: I considered using my boyfriend as a guinea pig and giving him one for his birthday. Losing my marbles over here!

We've been enjoying perfect weather here in Philadelphia. Cool nights like tonight make me wish I were up in the Catskill mountains, looking up at those twinkling stars... and hunting down Mrs. Axe-Grinder in this outfit.

Once you look beyond the prep, these Jules Reid patterns have so much to offer... might take a little bit of imagination for some folks, but WOW! How have I not heard of this designer before? Must be the rock I'm living under. Now if only all these pieces would go on a major sale...

When my boyfriend and I drove up to Niagara Falls this past March, it was literally all I could do to stop myself from taking a day trip to Toronto. There is only one thing on my Toronto dream itinerary: visit the Mjolk store. It's no secret I've got a thing for Scandinavian design and the owners of Mjolk clearly share my passion. The shop website is down at the moment, but trust me and visit their blog. Inspiring to say the least! Now excuse me while I track down those Linda Björg Árnadóttir pillows!

Oceans Apart

I somehow just managed to stumble across this incredible shop. Perfect small gifts have been on my mind as of late - reusable bags and beautiful stationary are very high on that growing list! I've found that the key to gifting is buying something that the receiver would never splurge on for themselves. Most importantly, a part of the shop's proceeds will go to the Japan Earthquake Relief efforts through Red Cross Japan. Check out the UGUiSU blog too!

Flying Off My Rocker

found here

It's finals time over here. I'm trying hard to balance work, school, play, and blogging. Unfortunately, blogging usually gets the short end of the stick when it comes down to it! That's probably for the best because I just thought to myself, "What would I cut off to own either of these items?" All work and no play makes me crazy, clearly.
